As an expert in additives and lubricants, Bardahl has always been involved in motorsport. The story began in 1939 in Seattle (USA) when Ole Bardahl developed a revolutionary engine lubrication principle based on the reversal of polar attraction in oil molecules. After having created the Bardahl Manufacturing Corporation, the Norwegian engineer improved his formula by testing it on race tracks. Ole Bardahl was convinced that the best way to test his products and to improve them was to use them with the most demanding people : motorsport teams and race drivers. In the 1960s, Bardahl lubricants became a best-seller in the USA. Over the years, Bardahl products started to be distributed worldwide. Nowadays, there are 7 Bardahl plants developing products for many different applications (automotive, industrial, agriculture, DIY, marine, 2-wheels, etc) and Bardahl products are distributed in more than 100 countries.
