Bahrain Raid Xtreme(BRX) has finalised its driver line up for the 2021 Dakar Rally. French Rally Legend Sébastien Loeb joins Nani Roma, forming a formidable duo to lead BRX’s inaugural Dakar Rally campaign.

Loeb joins BRX with more than twenty years of rally experience – having won the World Rally Championship a record nine times in a row. Like his Spanish teammate, Loeb is no stranger to the Dakar Rally, making his debut appearance in 2016 before featuring for four consecutive years, claiming two podiums in the process. Loeb has also garnered accolades across the FIA World Touring Championship, 24 Hours of Le Mans, X Games, Formula 1 tests and the FIA GT Series.

BRX Driver, Loeb, commented: “BRX have big ambitions for the 2021 Dakar Rally and I’m excited to be a part of the journey with the team. There is an immense amount of experience in each area of the team; the best in the field with Prodrive, a track record of success from David Richards, and Bahrain’s rich history in motorsport. This combination is hard to rival, and I’m confident we will take to the dunes as strong contenders in next year’s Dakar.”

As the countdown to the 2021 Dakar Rally begins, both drivers and engineers have combined their experiences to fine tune the BRX T1 cars to ensure both drivers have a vehicle capable of leading from the front. With drivers and team experience and desire for victory aligned, sights are set on the Dakar Rally title.
